Hi, my name is Rosie Adamson and I am a student nurse at Teesside University. I have been blessed with the opportunity of travelling to Cambodia as an addition to my studies……

This September, I will be taking on the challenge of hiking 10 miles along the coastline from Staithes to Whitby. The purpose of this is to raise funds for nursing in the intense 40° heat of Cambodia with the charity “Transform Healthcare Cambodia”.

Whilst in Cambodia, myself and 11 other student nurses will be volunteering every day between Battambang Hospital and Roka Community Hospital. We will be working within surgical and children's wards, maternity care, and intensive care. We'll also support patients in their homes, provide training for hospital staff, and deliver health and hygiene education to children in their school.

Please donate anything that you can (or even just share this around) to help me raise the funds so that I can go and support these people in a country with limited resources. Cambodia are still overcoming the devastating effects of genocide which was caused by a Khmer Rouge regime that killed 3 million people, and left only 50 doctors in the whole country.
