Siva and Tracey Paige will be doing a 15,000ft skydive to raise money for Kiszhanth's Wish

We are Kiszhanth's Wish, a charity established in May 2024 in memory of Kiszhanth Paramasivam, who passed away at the age of 24. Kiszhanth was first diagnosed with cancer at 10 and again at 20, with the second diagnosis giving him a prognosis of only six months. However, he fought for an additional 4 years.

Receiving a cancer diagnosis is incredibly challenging. Initially, you grapple with the possibility of losing your life, but the struggle doesn’t end there. You must come to terms with toxic treatments that drain your energy and alter your sense of self. Radiation treatments can cause fatigue and damage your skin. You may lose your identity in the process. Even when treatment ends, the anxiety over test results and whether you’re truly cancer-free persists, preventing any peace. You either receive good news or you don’t. Even when you receive the good news of being cancer free, the process is never easy. You have to try and rebuild your life - making new friends, returning to work, or pursuing education. The journey can be lonely and isolating, especially if side effects like hearing loss or vision problems arise. On top of that, there’s always the haunting possibility that cancer might return, even after years of remission.

This experience is shared by many, not just Kiszhanth. Witnessing a loved one battle a life-threatening illness is both terrifying. It reshapes your perspective on life, leaving you exhausted. Yet, if your loved one continues to fight, you support them every step of the way. That’s the reality of cancer.

Our mission as a charity is to lessen this burden, even if just by a small margin. We aim to raise funds to fulfill children's wishes, whether it’s a shopping spree or a new gadget. These moments of joy are invaluable when so much has been taken from them. Additionally, our funds support the purchase of toys and new equipment for hospital playrooms, as well as providing meals for family members who stay by their loved ones’ side day and night.
