Children spend most of their day during the school year AT SCHOOL.

Shouldn't their workspace reflect a comfortable, engaging workspace?

I have just started work in a new classroom with limited furniture and decor. The walls are bare, there is one small bookcase, and the tables are drab, folding white tables.

As a new teacher in a new classroom, I don't have a lot of materials or furniture to bring into the classroom to improve its atmosphere or even provide a good educational experience for all students.

That's where you come in! This classroom needs a bit of love. I'd like to add plants, a classroom pet, cozy chairs, more bookcases, and gentle lighting. Just because my new classroom is a portable with inadequate outdoor light doesn't mean it can't be a joyful space.
