i have been couch surfing for the past year since escaping an abusive and dangerous living situation. i'm struggling to find affordable housing in the GTA. i am currently unable to work most jobs due to my disabilities though i am trying to find a job I can do from home. i receive $600/month from Ontario Works and i'm waiting for my ODSP application to be approved. I will need all the help I can get to find secure housing. Any donations would go towards renting a room. If anyone has a room available for an affordable price (under $800) please let me know! I can provide references from multiple previous roommates. A few of my friends in Hamilton and Toronto are also looking for rooms, including a friend who is trying to flee an abusive living situation. Even if the room doesn't work for me, it might work for her, so please reach out to me if you have any leads!
