Jen Hajj and Martin Praetorius met at a songwriting retreat in Ireland in 2014, where they wrote their first song together. Over the years, they have written an album’s worth of songs.

The pandemic spoiled their plans of coming together to record, but now the winds have changed. They just spent 17 days together at Kerrville Folk Festival, rehearsing by day and performing for people at the campfires by night. The feedback has been wonderful. It's a special sound that uplifts hearts.

Transatlantic Trails are seeking funding to get together in Ireland in autumn 2024 with an excellent backing band and studio professionals to record their songs. Help this dream become a reality.
