Trans woman seeks assistance with moving expenses

Hello friends and chosen family,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Helena, and I'm reaching out today with a heartfelt request for your support. I am a transgender woman who is on a journey towards a brighter future, and I need your help to make it happen.

I have until Oct 1 to relocate to new housing, I have found a place that not only provides a safe and welcoming environment but also offers opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery. However, like many in the transgender community, I am facing financial barriers that make this move seem like an insurmountable mountain to climb.

In order to secure this housing opportunity I unfortunately will need to pay the deposits (first, last, security) in the very near future. I have fortunately found new employment and will be back teaching classes again soon, but not soon enough to cover the moving expenses.

This is where your support comes in. I have created this GoFundMe campaign to request your assistance in covering the various expenses associated with my move. Your generous contributions will go towards: renting a moving truck, packing supplies, initial rent and deposit costs (first, last, security).
