Trans Veteran on Verge of Being Homeless

Hello, my name is Kairi I'm a trans girl (she/her) and am a disabled Marine Corps combat veteran (have two messed up knees that makes walking almost impossible now, a bad back, constant severe migraines, shoulder pain among other issues and I am recieving no disability for any of it due to the VA denying me compensation).  I'm trying to get to Michigan where I have friends ready to help me get back on my feet with stable housing. I don't know how much longer I'll have a roof over my head so I'm hoping to be able to move by the end of August 2019.

Note: Wow so originally this note was about how this was my second go at GoFundMe and how I didn't have as much hope for it but it was worth a shot but just wow. The amount of support from everyone has been amazing! I cannot believe it! The plan right now is to leave to Michigan by no later than August 30th. I will update everyone as the journey continues. Right now I *should* have enough to make it there though any extra funds I receive now will go to making sure gas, food, and living expenses in the beginning stages of us being there while we square things away with the VA and work stuff.
