Trans Mother needing gender affirming surgery

My name is Jaime and Im a trans womxn. I have always known that I wasn’t my authentic self as a kid, wearing my mother’s clothes, experiencing dysphoria during puberty (& well after), putting make up on &  shaving as a young child. However once you can fathom the truth as an adult (especially as a mother) it’s time to FINALLY start living as your true self in your own skin. I was raised by a single black lesbian mother and was taught to always speak my truth and embody that truth. With a seven year old that made it so difficult to run from and hide from. He is so incredibly sensitive and intelligent for his age, he has welcomed me with the same arms he always had and I appreciate that more than words can describe.

Changing my name and all of my paper work is another need that I have yet to address due to lack of funds and support.I want a breast augmentation as well as afull penectomy. With the two surgeries it’s upwards of 55,000 dollars.  
Even the change of name and sex seems unattainable and has for so long. 

I started this fundraiser not just for raising money for my Reassignment surgeries but so I can afford to pay for basic needs like having my name Jaime being recognized legally, being recognized as a woman by the state. I see a trans therapist for affirmation and mental health support that is also very costly.
