TRANS FAMILY FLEEING FL

We are an intermeshed co-parenting trans family consisting of Silas who is a two spirit native, engaged to Averi who is also trans, and our child who is almost 6 and nonbinary as well. We are also co-parenting with Hollen and their partner who are both trans as well. We are raising funds for our exodus from Florida trans genocide and seek refuge in Oregon a state with protections as well as trans healthcare coverage.

All of the anti lgbtq bills that have passed deeply affect each of us and more than anything else make us afraid to raise our child in a state that now makes it legal to take custody of trans children or from trans parents. HRT and gender affirming care being increasingly hard to access is also a huge barrier to existing in Florida. The bathroom ban is also a large contributor to our fear of being harmed while living in FL. Along with all the other just horrible bills passing - we all are deeply afraid for our safety and well being. we are being FORCED out of our home, away from our families and friends to uproot our entire lives because it is no longer a safe option to exist in this state. All of us have already been affected by the bills that continue to pass and we have no other options. We are all scared and raising these funds will secure our safety and well being.

This goal is to cover the cost of UHAUL, transportation to a new safe trans refugee state, rent-first last and deposit, as well as any other costs we may incur while making this journey 3k miles across the country with a puppy, a cat, 4 trans adults and a trans kiddo. All parties will be able to access these funds which will be purely used for moving and survival.
