Emergency Fund for Tranice & Tamara

Donation protected
Around noon on March 2, 2017, Tranice received an urgent phone call from her mother -- the house that Tranice, her son Daymon, and her sister Tamara grew up in was in flames.

Without hesistation, Tranice and Tamara alerted staff and bolted home to discover that the house was gone. The Chicago Fire Department did what they could, but all of their belongings are damaged or complete destroyed.

Students at Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos High School immediately responded. Not only are they fundraising with pizza and pop at lunch, they are also collecting clothes and toys.

Tranice, Tamara, and their family are seeking a small amount of donations to assist with new clothes, basic essentials, and food.

In advance, we greatly appreciate your donations. Tranice and Tamara are staples to our community, and we want to help them recover from this traumatic event so they can celebrate the final months of their senior year.
