Trampolines for Hopesetters
Donation protected
Hello family and friends,
This summer while on vacation visiting family in Ghana, I had the amazing opportunity to spend some time serving at Hopesetters Autism Center in Tema. In the spirit of the annual Pay-It-Forward (PIF) volunteer event that my office colleagues and I participate in within Lexington, Kentucky, I decided to pursue my very own PIF day in Ghana since I missed the opportunity to serve with my friends in Lexington. It was a decision I'd always cherish in my heart!
In conversation with the Executive Director, Mrs. Jewel Baaba Enchill, I got to understand that they lack good working trampolines on their playground. They currently have one large aged trampoline, which is woefully inadequate for the 40 amazing Hopesetters kiddos (ages 3yrs - 24yrs). The trampoline, I witnessed, was the go-to play equipment for most of our friends there.
Mrs. Enchill mentioned that an additional 2-3 large-sized trampolines will be a welcome addition to the center. A trampoline of such size in Ghana sells for roughly 7,000 Ghana Cedis (~$700). My hope is to raise $3000 so they can afford the trampolines and then some, to help enhance play activities at the center.
I'd appreciate your love and willingness to support Hopesetters Autism Center.
May God richly bless you!
