Howdy Folks!Welcome to the Tramontane Cafe's Facade Go Fund Me!
We're looking to upgrade and repair both our main Lincoln Avenue and our Hart Street exteriors especially as our neighborhood is expanding and looking good these days!
If you have been to our lovely little corner of Utica, New York around the late Fall & Winter months you've witnessed first-hand our struggle with our front door! We are hoping to rebuild our handicap accessible ramp as well as build out a new entrance way which will make a new door more weather friendly & possibly give more space at the front counter.
The charming neighborhood entrance of the Hart Street door way needs to be freshened up with a new door, door frame, & threshold area as well as siding and painting work. You're aware of the "please close the door behind you sign ;) ".
In addition to these very necessary improvements to the ramp, doors, entrances we are looking to include some upgrades on the outside walls; such as a fresh coat of paint, sealing & repainting the Tram's signage, as well as siding, and adding one or two mural features.
The Tramontane Cafe is a destination location for our numerous specialty offerings, atmosphere, and entertainment. We have been on hiatus for a bit of time to refocus, regroup, & refresh since the end of June 2018. We hope to be encouraged by a fresh outlook for ourselves and more importantly for YOU our devoted customers, friends, Tramily.
We have been given a just under $20,000 estimate to get everything done and we are hoping to use this GoFundMe to start the process. When we reach our goal of $10,000 we will make sure the handicap accessible ramp, the Lincoln Avenue main entrance and Hart Street secondary entrance are tackled first and foremost completed.
Any amount is very much welcomed and appreciated towards our Mom & Pop goals to continue providing Utica New York a safe, all ages, inter-generationally friendly venue and gathering space. Each amount over $10,000 will be put towards as many other exterior upgrades until we can complete the entire property.
If we happen to exceed $23,000 by some awesome-TRAM-tastic miracle, we will use the overage for additional interior upgrades such as newer equipment and supplies for food & beverage preparation & sound equipment for entertainment. This will only happen if we go over $23,000. We will use all funds collected through this GoFundMe for our currently dreary & sad exterior to help convey all the brightness & cheery interior! We are independently working on some small inside changes on our own at this time through the Winter.
