Training mats for Onye N'Chebe Martial Arts

Greetings everyone! My name is Samuel Godwin, and I am the founder and martial arts instructor for the Onye N'Chebe Martial Arts program. I began this program to introduce the youth in the Philadelphia area to Historical African Martial Arts, or HAMA for short. My mission is to promote physical fitness, self-development, and empowerment within all my students through the instruction of the African and Diasporic arts. So far, my youth classes have grown to 8 students between the ages of 7-11 y/o. And while this growth is slow and steady, there is hope that my program will continue to grow and reach more children within the city.

I want to ensure that my students receive all the equipment needed to benefit from all the program has to offer. My first step is to acquire mats for the training space. This will allow the program to teach its complete curriculum, especially African wrestling, while ensuring safety for the students. Your help will greatly benefit the martial arts program and the dedicated students as you are literally building the training space to allow me to serve my community of African martial artists to its fullest.
