Training for Enzo
Donation protected
Beautiful big mushball Enzo has been at the shelter for over 3 years and continues to get overlooked because of his size and fear aggression toward other animals. On July 31st, 2023, Mike and Amanda Leal of North Shore Paws graciously donated a training session for Enzo and it went better than we could have expected so now we are looking to enroll him in a one-month board and training program with North Shore Paws to give Enzo a better chance of finding a home.
Enzo was initially in the Veterans Service Dog training program where sadly he failed out after 6 months for having aggression toward other dogs. Besides his animal aggression he is very well trained and wonderful in the house, obedient and patient he has perfect manners, doesn’t beg and waits at the door when he needs to go out.
Enzo would do best in a child-free home with no other pets and a dog-savvy owner. He weighs about 95 lbs and is an absolute love who is eager to please. A nice fenced-in yard and a lot of cuddles are all he needs to be someone’s best buddy.
We will never give up on him so we’re hoping to reach as many people as possible to help pay for his training and to find this sweet boy his forever home:)
