Hey there! My birthday is coming up and all that I want is for my dog to feel comfortable around new people. I am trying to get my dog, Fitzroy, into a board and train program. The benefits of this would be that he would get consistent training with professionals for 4-5 weeks straight before coming back home to me. He is a very active, intelligent boy, and I just want him to be able to become more socialized and comfortable around new people, as he didn’t really grow up with that in his previous home.

He’s a year and a half, and he's such an outgoing boy! Because of his intelligence and energy, he is stubborn, and I only have a few days of the week in which I can train him myself. It hasn’t been going poorly, but he really would benefit from professionals that have worked with dogs like him before and that do this for a living, as I am not a professional dog trainer.

I understand that this is not a fundraiser for someone getting medical help or rebuilding a home that was damaged, or things of the like. This may not be super important or even relevant to many people. However, this little boy is important to me. I want to give him the best and most fulfilling life as possible, like I could with my JuniBug. I want to take Fitz on adventures, camping, climbing trips, road trips, dog parks, etc. He is a loving boy and has so much love to give those around him, humans and other pets alike. He just needs some direction and to learn to trust.
