After trying to train and manage the reactivity myself, we have realized Chippy’s reactivity is more than we are able to handle on our own. However, I am committed to getting her the help she needs to find her forever family, as sending her back to the shelter would place her back on the euthanasia list.

We are excited to work with CaninePHD to teach her the appropriate social skills she has been missing out on in a couple of private lessons. Once she’s ready, we will then attend a reactive boot camp with them! The training is necessary because as of right now, even just a short neighborhood walk is super stressful for all of us.

I’ve set up a GoFundMe to help cover the cost of this reactivity training. By providing training for her we can ensure she won’t be returned to the shelter. If you’re able to share or give, it will make a huge difference and we would appreciate it beyond words. Reactivity is just as stressful for her (if not more) as it is for us, so I’m excited to provide some relief for Chippy. Thank you for reading!
