When we first created this campaign, Breakthrough Fit Co was an idea...and a lot of you took a risk to support us. Our mission was simple: create equal access to health and wellness for the special needs community, provide jobs and do good in our community. One year later, we have opened a space, have created opportunity for 5 great team members and began to realize just how big this mission is as we have done some amazing things with in the special needs community. We gave up on this campaign, but we can't.

Breakthrough Fit Co is a personal training and small group training facility that exists to adapt to individuals life styles through group, in person, and virtual training option. More importantly we exist to create equal access to health and wellness to the special needs community through our adaptive and personalized IGNITE Fitness Program.

There is a great want and need in Westchester for this Special Needs Fitness Program and we want to give them the space they deserve. Autism, down syndrome, it does not matter, we cannot wait to work with them.
What is Ignite?
Ignite offers progressive, fun, and adaptive fitness programs to members of the Westchester special needs community, ages 12 through adulthood. Through IGNITE's fitness assessment process, members are aligned based on their abilities, to ensure a structured and nurturing environment. IGNITE serves a broad spectrum of disabilities and aims to empower each individual through exercise and positive experiences, enhancing social skills and making new friends within our community.

My name is Jake Allyne, founder of BreakthroughFitCo. As my team and I take steps to opening our space, my mission has been to create a high end personal training facility that not only caters to our awesome current and future clients, but to create a space to grow and create our dream Special Needs Fitness program. I have always worked with special needs athletes and hold a huge place in my heart for every child, teen, and young adult I work with. Creating this space gives us the potential to do so much good in the world as we grow and expand the program with highly qualified professionals. We plan to grow beyond this with a youth fitness program and one day, a scholarship for those who otherwise would not have access to these kinds of programs.
We are chasing passion and creating a positive impact. Fitness is the first line of defense in our health and wellness system and we believe that all should have the opportunity to have that.

Let me introduce you to Adin. Adin and I met a little more than 2 years ago and she is simply amazing. The photos below sum up how awesome and dedicated she is. Since we began working together she has progressed to being able to run a 5k distance on a weekly among many other accomplishments, and through our time together she has lost over 40 lbs
And the best part is this, when Covid hit, with the help of her amazing family, we were able to train virtually and this is when she really hit her most significant results. Talk about an inspiration!
