Train vs Car Miracle

Donation protected
Train vs car, train wins every time... right? Well Praise God not this time. Our son Lyndon survived his wreck with a train Thur Jan 19th in lona the next town over very close to home in Ammon Idaho. Lyndon was with his wrestling coach who was the passenger. After we took him to the Emergency room directly following the accident we were told Lyndon had broken his back in three places (L2-L3-L4) As some of you might have read or saw the first news article that came out the day of the accident and on tv it's definitely was not accurate portrayal of what happened and the injuries sustained. New follow up interviews ect we believe it's worth getting the correct context and information out there of Lyndon's story. He was driving in a residential area with trees houses and fences blocking his vision of the oncoming train, not to mention no railroad bars, blinking lights or stop signs. Plus with with ice on the roads it was only a matter of time until this happened to somebody. Unfortunately it was Lyndon. The neurologist has him home not participating in school or any activities due to a risk if anything would happen to cause more damage to his spine. Wr are waiting to find out how his body responds and heals before making any decisions to return to school. Lyndon is a varsity wrestler and Football player at Thunder Ridge High School and was in the middle of the wrestling season when this incident occurred. So to say he's bummed he wont be able to finish out the rest of the season and possibly not football coming up is an understatement but thrilled to be alive being so close to the accident that could have taken his life. We are from Kansas and have only been here in Idaho about years so this was a shock to us being we have never seen railroads that don't have safety measures in place. Lyndon being the oldest of 6 kids he is the main help around the house lifting cooking watching babies or whatever the need may be. He is in pain and cannot lift more then 5ponds right now and is unable to help as he usually does with the younger siblings and lifting babies. Charlie is also going through her own back problems and procedures that has her unable to work at this time and had another back procedure the day of this accident with more coming up in the near future. We are a family of 8, 6 kids two of which are babies 182 so this puts an extraordinary amount of pressure on us. Myself Jacob Having to take off of work to be home and ensure the safety and care of the babies and the rest of the family while they recover has been very difficult. We do have insurance that should cover the cost of the medical but we need assistance in meeting the rest of our bills and expenses. Thank you in advance for your prayers and support!
