Greetings all, it is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I create this gofundme. Train Service Supervisor Derek Wells has transition from this life into the next. He was a kind and gentle soul. He was a dedicated civil servant. He worked for MTA New York City Transit for over 28 years. As a train operator and as a supervisor he was professional and courteous. On July 31, 2022 Derek Wells lost his battle to liver disease. He leaves behind a family who loves him dearly including his fiancé Train Operator Ylatasha Scott. I am asking that we keep this family in a our prayers and in our hearts.
