Hi,
I've have started this fund to help finance the expenses of professionally training a young Shepherd mix to service Peter.
Peter came to the United States when he was 6 years old. During his young years, he spent so much time at Shriner's Hospital in Springfield, Ma. Despite numerous surgeries, and many opportunities to give up, Peter persevered.
At age 17, he had his first amputation because of issues with birth defects (club foot, flail foot, missing parts of his foot, leg limb difference).
Last year, Peter’s other leg was infected and after many trips to the ER (without medical answers), Peter faced his second below the knee amputation.
Bella, a 5-month-old Shepherd mix, recently joined him to be his companion and to be trained as a licensed service animal. She would help him with his PTSD, retrieve items, open and shut doors, shut off lights, alert of health problems, assists in everyday life's unexpected situations and so much more....
Your donation will help with the expense of professionally training Bella as a service dog for Peter, as well as the additional expense of equipment and supplies, travelling expenses, vet visits and any other unexpected related expenses.
With many thanks and appreciation for your contribution.
