“Trailer Park of Torture” – Be Their Hero. End Their Harm.
In the middle of the night, at 2:30 a.m., we received a desperate call for help. A cat had approached someone in a Phoenix trailer park—crying out, mutilated, and broken. Its ears had been cut off. A wound gaped on its front paw. Patches of fur were missing. This poor soul came to a stranger, begging for mercy.
When I saw the message, we rushed out into the 100-degree heat to try and find him. What we uncovered was something far worse than we ever expected.
As we searched the park, we discovered more and more cats—injured, maimed, abused. Litters of kittens tucked into corners. Emaciated bodies barely clinging to life. We spoke to residents who heartbreakingly confirmed: some people in the park hate the cats. We saw the evidence with our own eyes—cats with degloved tails, open wounds, lifeless bodies, and a heartbreaking abundance of suffering.
We cannot turn away. But we cannot do this alone.
*Phoenix PD was called and fully informed on the situation. They would not respond as they said there is no report to be made since there is no evidence showing who is responsible for inflicting this torture and since they are feral cats and considered “wild animals” no one is obligated to provide medical attention. They are left to suffer.
One of the kittens we rescued is only 4 months old. He was found crying under a bush—his tail cut off, a chunk of his leg missing, his tiny skull shattered from blunt force trauma. He underwent emergency surgery, so severe and delicate that he was paralyzed for a week, lying conscious, unable to move. He has survived, but he is now completely blind. And just days ago, his skull reopened. He urgently needs another surgery.
We are doing everything in our power to save these lives—pulling cats from hellish conditions, rushing them to vets, trying to prevent more senseless cruelty. But this mission is immense. It will take serious funding to cover medical care, emergency surgeries, food, shelter, and spay/neuter efforts.
>These cats are suffering RIGHT NOW.
>They are being tortured, mutilated, and killed.
>And we are their only hope.
We’re begging—if you can spare even $5, please, please help us get them to safety. Help us fight for those who can’t fight for themselves. Help us bring justice to these innocent lives who have endured unthinkable pain.
Tonight, we go back out to try and trap the cat with his ears cut off. He is still out there. He is still hurting. And he still needs us.
These cats will be going through Kai’s Place Rescue for medical treatment and placement for the ones we can place. They have a long standing contract with Kierland Animal Clinic and are billed directly every Friday. They no longer allow direct payment over the phone. Feel free to call and verify with the vets office at [phone redacted]
