Hi all, I'm Vince and I'm a filmmaker from Montreal with nothing short of an absurd dream - to make movies for a living and entertain you.

It's been quite the journey to get here, but my creative partner Mat and I finally managed to make our very own first professional-level short film. After graduating from Concordia University's Film Studies program and learning about the industry through VFX for a few years, Mat and I decided to be the creative voices we always wanted to be, to make the films we always wanted to see - and now we are finally able to show you the culmination of that endeavour.

"TRAIL" is a simple, no-dialogue, no-BS short film about a lone hiker escaping his troubles in the deep, quiet winter wilderness - only to make a macabre discovery and inevitably fight for his life.

A cast and crew of talented individuals went through lots of sweat, tears and frozen limbs to make this, and we couldn't be more proud of the team and end result.

TRAIL was completely funded by Mat and I - from pre-production to post-production. We are lucky enough to be working good, stable careers in VFX, which gives us the knowledge, skills and, frankly, grit necessary to make our creative projects. Alas, we find ourselves at the end of our budget and will need a bit of help with festival submission costs.

At the time of this writing, TRAIL has already won 2 awards and garnered 1 nomination. Our incredible cinematographer Nico Abaunza has won Best Cinematography at Digital Griffix, and I (Vince) has been nominated for Best First Time Director at the same festival. We've also won Best Thriller at Montreal Shorts.

We anticipate continuing to make a splash at more festivals and would be deeply grateful for your help in cultivating the recognition the incredible TRAIL team deserves!
