On the early morning of June 28, 2026, our beloved Erica Smith’s life was tragically taken by an alleged drunk driver.

Erica was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind five children—Jayvon, Jessica, Jesse, Jamilah, and Tamar—as well as four grandchildren, eight siblings, and many loved ones who are heartbroken by this loss.

This sudden tragedy has left our family devastated and facing unexpected funeral and burial expenses. Erica was taken from us far too soon in a senseless act that has forever changed our lives.
