We're devastated to announce that our wonderful, well loved Father passed away of a sudden heart attack July 5th, 2021 at 60 years old.

He leaves behind his three adoring children Roxanne, Rainey, Rory, and his grandchildren Luis and Aileen. He is a loving Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, and Uncle. This sudden passing has left the family grief stricken and heartbroken. Any donations will help his children lay him to rest according to his wishes, with his mother and two brothers.

Whether Roy was your friend, Bus driver, Coworker, or just as our dad, he made a huge impact on everyone's lives that he touched. We appreciate all of your prays, positive thoughts, condolences, and shared memories. Our Dad loved his job, he drove generations worth of families on his school bus. He retired after 39 years of time as Bus Driver Roy just a few months ago, and we wish he had more time to enjoy his retirement. His stories from working on the bus have been told and retold and he was so proud of his time with Savanna School District. Any stories you may wish to tell please email to [email redacted]. Our Dad was the most outgoing, fun loving man you would have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He loved being outdoors whether he was surfing, skating biking, camping, or on some sort of motorized vehicle. That was his joy and he definitely passed it on to us, his children.

Roy graduated from Kennedy High School in 1978, where he made his lifelong friend friends and memories shared to us and that will not be forgotten.

We hope he's doing all those things he loved and blasting classic rock on School Bus Number 3 in heaven.
