Dear everyone, It’s with a heavy heart that we write to inform you our dearly beloved brother called Mamina Nyassi from Duwasu Village in Gambia, who lived in Italy from 2016, has died on Friday 13 march, 2026. At San Saverio in the province of Foggia.

This sad news came after he had an altercation with someone who later hunted and had hit him with a hammer, which leads to his death. Mamina was a devoted muslim, respectful and loved by his community. It’s a painful moment for the family right now.

On behalf of his family, as we want to give him a respectful burial back in the Gambia, we are actively fundraising to pay for his body repatriation and funeral arrangements.
