I am writing this on the behalf of my cousins Amellia & Dion Rakic. 2 days ago, my Aunty’s life was tragically taken in a horrible DV Homicide. Something you never think your family would ever have to experience. Our family is currently going through a tremendous amount of pain, hurt, shock and disbelief.

Christine was a Daughter, a Mother, a Sister and a Grandmother and was loved by so many others. It is devastating knowing Christine has been taken away from her beautiful family who she loved so much. Christine was a caring and humorous person, she had so much love to give, she loved animals, spending time around her family and the light of her life were her children and grandson.

Not only do Amellia & Dion now have to process and grieve the loss of their Mum, they have to be strong for each-other as they have not only lost one but both parents in this tragic incident. Amellia & Dion are facing and will continue to face many ongoing struggles and challenges moving forward with their life. Their lives have been changed forever.

We want to thank everyone who has reached out to the family to share their condolences and extended love. We are so grateful for all the love that has been received.

Our family asks if you are in a position to donate towards the funeral costs and anything else they need in moving forward it would be greatly appreciated.
