Jack in the Box restaurant and employees in Chico, California are mourning an accidental death of their Restaurant Manager Travis Skyberg. Travis was a hardworking and bright young man who started working for Jack in the Box in Paradise, CA in May 2012 as a crew member. After the devastating Paradise fires in 2018, him and his family moved to Oroville. After the move he accepted a position at the Jack in the Box in Chico. With his hard work and dedication, he elevated himself to various positions at Jack in the Box before becoming the Restaurant Manager in July 2020. Travis was one of the newest Restaurant Manager in our Chico Jack family however he won multiple awards for the excellent work he and his Team performed. He brought smiles to his guest and employees alike with his radiant personality every day. He was a model employee and well-liked by his crew at the restaurant. Travis was a single Father and is survived by his kids age 5, 12,17 and his Mother.
On night of January 27, 2022, Travis was involved in a tragic accident when he was trying to save his beloved dogs when they ran out of the house and on to the nearby highway.
We are raising funds to support his funeral and his family with their tragic loss. Travis touched many lives and he is be missed by all of us at Jack in the Box.
