Tragic loss of Artie Ponce help for his family
Donation protected
Yesterday evening Datascan lost Artie Ponce at the young age of 47--- a great employee, a friend, someone we have all grown to care for and appreciate over the last 5 years. At the same time, his sweet wife Tiesha lost her husband, his children lost their father, and many others lost a friend.
Sadly, Artie was one of the now millions affected by the Corona Virus. The Doctors and hospital worked hard to save him over the last few weeks, and yesterday he took a turn for the worse.
Working with Artie was such a pleasure for us all. He always wanted to do better, and help his co workers and his customers out. The guy was always smiling and ready for a laugh or to joke around. If he heard someone talking about a problem, he was there to assist in any way. He never gave anyone an attitude and was not a complainer at work --he was a do-er.
This horrible news all comes after Artie and his wife recently packed up and moved down to the Carolinas to start a new life. Tiesha had lost her job a few months back but found a great new opportunity down south. Artie was going to continue working as part of Datascans support team from his new home, and unfortunately was not given the chance he deserved and was so excited for.
Any funds raised will go directly to Arties widow Tiesha to help her with any expenses raised from this tragic event, as well as to assist with the adjustment of now being a single income household. We want to give back to the family for someone that gave so much to all of us. We ask that everyone share this and donate whatever they can. If you knew Artie or ever interacted with him, there is no doubt that you can say he was there for you at some point, and definitely went out of his way. Lets all do the same for his family. We will all miss you Artie, you were a great human being.
