Hello my name is Amanda , and I'm Keith's niece. On behalf of my aunt Cathy I wanted to reach out to our friends and community for support.

It is with deep sadness that we have to announce the tragic passing of my uncle Keith Brewster. On November 13th, 2025, while at work as a crossing guard for the city of Hamilton, he was hit by a dump truck driver.

Keith was a devoted husband to Cathy, for Keith his family was his world. 23 years ago they met and fell inlove, not only did he fall inlove with Cathy he became an amazing Step-Father to Elizabeth and Shannon.

11 years ago Keith became a Pepa (Grandfather) to Jacob. He was such an active role in Jacobs life. This news is devastating to all, but especially to him. He was excited and could not wait for the birth of his second grandson in just nine weeks.

3 years ago Keith started working for the city of Hamilton as a Crossing Guard. He loved his job and the connection he made with all the students and their families.

Keith was an active member of Kingsview community church and will sadly be missed by many.

Further investigation is taking place.
