Tragic House Fire: Family of 5 Loses Everything

My sister & brother-in-law lost their family home in Truro, NS the morning of February 16th, 2024. Them, along with their 3 young boys are now displaced from their home & have lost everything to a devastating house fire. Thankfully no lives were lost during this already heartbreaking event, including that of their beloved pet gecko.

Todd & Kage have 3 amazing children; Brayson (10), Roxas (6) & Arlo (4). Like any family, they have seen their share of ups & downs, but this definitely hit the hardest. This was the house Todd grew up in & the home that they were going to raise their boys in. That dream quickly changed in the blink of an eye & 1 ring of a phone.

As of right now they are regularly moving between different hotels, hotel rooms & Airbnbs. They are also going to have to start driving across town twice a day to take the boys to & from school. They're doing all of this while trying to keep the boys entertained & aiming to maintain any form of normalcy they possibly can.

It is crushing to see my loved ones lose everything they've worked so hard for & put so much love & dedication into for so many years. This money will be going toward helping with fuel costs, clothing, food & other necessities required.
