Tragic Fire-Help Rebuild the lives of the James’.
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
On March 21st, tragedy struck the James family as a devastating fire engulfed their home, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The flames consumed not only their belongings but also their sense of security and stability.
Kendra is a single mother of 6 adorable kids, 4 of which she officially adopted in 2015 and 2 who will officially be adopted TOMORROW (March 22nd)! Alaina (15), Najriyah (13), Naveen (10), Norion (9), Londynn (3), and Jordynn (3) woke up to a burning house this morning and are are currently displaced and still in shock. By the grace of God, everyone made it out safely, but the mental and emotional effects are just sinking in. Next week, instead of enjoying their spring break, this family will be sorting through the few salvageable items left of their home, and figuring out how to push forward.
As they face the daunting task of rebuilding, we are rallying together to offer our support and solidarity. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a profound difference in helping the James family get back on their feet. Your generosity will provide them with the means to secure temporary housing, replace essential items, and begin the long journey toward rebuilding their lives.
Let's show the James family that they are not alone in this challenging time. Together, we can make a tangible difference and help them find hope amidst the ashes.
While we understand that at some point insurance will kick in, we are asking for these donations to ensure the children’s lives move through these next couple of weeks as seamlessly as possible.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Shaun & Toni Thomas
