Tragic Fire at Daybreak Farm

Dear Friends,
Our dear friend, Stephanie von Bidder of Daybreak Farm, suffered a devasting barn fire on Friday evening. Thankfully, all animals—horses, dogs, cats—were out of the barn and safe. The barn was totally incinerated, and all within it, 100% loss of tack, blankets, equipment, supplies, etc. Anyone who has visted Stephanie's Farm knows that it was more than just a barn, it was a piece of art.
Many people reached out immediately. Neighbors Daniel and Kathy Geitner, Darren Haeusler and Ria Burton, Hunt Tosh, and Bubba Forrester of Sandy Hills Farm, Kevin, Jolene, and Katherine Birkett helped with the animals during the fire. Fernanda Kellogg instantly offered her barn at Fox Frolic Farm, and Pace Kneece of Aiken County Farm Supply and Arielle Ostrov of Aiken Tack Exchange immediately donated needed supplies to the horses. A loving army of boarders and friends set up a temporary home for the horses.
Many others have contributed supplies, and many more have reached out to ask how to help. Stephanie has repeatedly said that she is incredibly grateful for everyone’s thoughts and prayers, and deeply appreciative of all the assistance.
After discussing the best to help our dear friend, we decided to establish this page for those of you who wish to and are able to help. Know that every gift of a little or a lot means a tremendous amount to Stephanie.
Stephanie is kind and generous, incredibly hard-working, and helpful to all around her on a daily basis. She is always one of the first to reach out when someone else is in need. We are very grateful to her, and to all of you for reaching out to help.
