Update From Robyn: Hello everyone! Thank you for the outpouring of support, you all have no idea what a dark place I was in when leaving FL, and what faith and compassion you all have restored in me. So thank you for bringing such light to a terribly dark place in life. I have been so blessed and just amazed and the influx of positive vibes and love and donations! I have been able to get to New York with my sister and am in quarantine until end of next week. I have used some of the donation money to start replacing the things I need and am so appreciative! We will Also be buying her a dryer, as I was bringing one to her, because she didn't have one.  I am currently looking for a vehicle preferably a small truck with tow capability.  I will be deciding whether to move out of FL permanently, but for right now I am safe at my sister's in update NY. I will be headed back to FL when my grandson is born, he is Due 12/7 and will just make decisions as I go best I can.

Robyn Mattox has spent her lifetime serving women and families as a long time Central Florida Midwife
. Late last night (Nov 1) on her way to New York to start a new journey, a 5 point buck dashed in front of her on I95 in South Carolina and hit her directly head on.  As her car was smoking she began unloading all her belongings.  When law enforcement arrived they would not allow her to continue.  Items, including her computer, purse (ID, bank cards ect), that were on the grass burned up as the flames went beyond the car and consumed everything.

As I write this, a friend Sam Houghton is en route to pick her up at the hospital. She has no life sustaining injuries but bumped and bruised and has lost EVERYTHING. The car is completely burned and she is shaken having watched it all go up in flames.  The hospital discharged her at 4 am and she has been sitting in the ER waiting room unable to even buy food since she lost her purse.  A kind gentleman is letter her use his cell charger.

I ( Kathy Bradley) and Michelle Smith have known Robyn for more than 20 years while training and working together.  Of those that know her, they will attest to her giving spirit.  She has supported countess families while brining life into this world.

Robyn has experienced a few medical issues during this pandemic and is trying to get back on her feet.  She needs our care and love NOW more than anything
.  Can we count on you to hold and support her during this fragile and raw time as she has done with so many of us?
Even the smallest amount  is very appreciated.     I lost my home to a fire in 2007 while enduring a divorce.  I remember a local HS student I didn't even know raised $2,000 on our families behalf.  It was this gesture that renewed my hope in humanity as I was spent and on emotional overload.

When life exposes us to experiences that shatter us to the core, seeing good in humanity can is a breath of fresh air especially in these turbulent and unprecedented times.

Please honor her need for peace and refrain from overwhelming her.  If you text or call please give her time to respond.
