Our daughter, son in law, and granddaughter were recently involved in a very serious car accident. We are beyond grateful that the baby was unharmed, but both parents sustained significant injuries that required surgeries, rehabilitation, and extended hospital stays. They are now beginning the long recovery process at home, though their injuries will prevent them from working or fully caring for their daughter for the next several months.

Their car was totaled in the accident, and the car seat that protected their baby will need to be replaced. With the loss of income and mounting expenses—including medical bills, child care, transportation to medical appointments, and everyday household needs—this has placed a heavy burden on their young family.
