Tragic Car Accident - Please Help the Thao Family
Our sister Mai Yang and her six children have been involved in a severe car accident Sunday afternoon in Bakersfield, CA. The family traveled from Minnesota to visit family in California when their vehicle was rammed into during stalled traffic. The driver of the vehicle that hit them has died. This tragedy has also left some of her children in critical condition, their vehicle completely totaled and the families without any belongings.
We are so heartbroken to see this lovely family go through such a trying time. As parents, siblings, uncles and aunts, the inability to take away their pain is beyond words. They should be enjoying their summer in the sun and swimming in pools, not having to go through surgeries and laying in hospital beds.
Our sister Mai Yang, nephews Tristin (20), Aiden (16), Braylon (11), Kalden (9), Camden (6) and our niece Aaliyah (13) are trying to make sense of this unfortunate event. We continue to get updates on their conditions but are met with more heart wrenching diagnosis. We are shaken as this family tries to gather any strength to overcome this situation.
We appreciate any help you can give as this family will require medical attention, lodging, medical bills, food and support until they are able to return home safely.
