Tragic Accident- Recovery and Expenses

Hi, my name is Zoe and my son Zaivyr (as pictured) was tragically injured in a motor vehicle accident late February. He was struck by a car travelling at high speed, breaking his femur, and hitting his head against the car's windshield and thrown behind the car onto the road. A parent's worst nightmare. We have been in the hospital 7 hours from home for the past month at the closest hospital with a paediatric neurology specialist team, and he is recovering well, although he has been left with life long severe brain injuries. Zaivyr has had an amazing support system surrounding him, my Mum and I have been taking turns sitting with him to support him through his hospital journey, my other son has been well cared for by other family, and my friends have all banded together to help with whatever they can. We are now finding it very hard to survive financially. Between bills and being away from home for so long, everybody has exhausted all their resources to keep us floating by. I am now unemployed and unable to continue to survive on a very limited income whilst I am waiting for Centrelink to come through and have also now exhausted all my savings. I know that everybody is struggling right now, so anything that you can help with will be greatly appreciated. I am asking for $7000, to cover my rent for the next 6 weeks, ($3600) and to pay some bills that have fallen behind since we have been here. My phone bill, power bill, car registration, and internet bill are all due, and some other smaller loans which are now overdue as I have deferred payments to survive whilst being here in hospital. Zaivyr has been doing amazing in hospital and we are looking at another 6-10 weeks here, before we can go home and continue therapy at a hospital closer to us.
