On July 4th, 2024, Aidan Shaffer was a passenger in a fatal car accident, leaving Aidan fighting for his life. This accident tragically claimed the life of one of his friends and terribly injured Aidan and the two other passengers.

Aidan was blessed by a miracle from God and was pulled from entrapment by the emergency responders while the vehicle was engulfed in flames. Aidan was transported to the hospital by Air Evac Care Flight where the doctors were able to stabilize him in the ICU unit.

Aidan has now gone through multiple surgeries including skin grafts from the third-degree burns suffered while entrapped in the fiery vehicle, and a shattered right leg.

Full Injuries suffered:

Collapsed Lung - with lingering Pneumothorax

Small Brain Bleed

Broken Scapula

Broken Clavicle

Broken Back, Thoracic

Left leg, suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns

Right leg breaks - Talus, Tibia, Fibula

Aidan is wheelchair bound for 3 months. He will require 24-hour a day care for those three months, and once able to walk, will still require crutches until healed completely.

This will be a long recovery process and a financially challenging time for Aidan and his family.
