Tragedy strikes twice in a year!!!

Donation protected
Just over a year ago, the Shingleton Family
lost their home, cars, and over 95% of their belongings in a tragic house fire that they narrowly escaped from, but all made it out alive!!

They have had a really rough year, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. They have fought insurances, restoration companies, maxed out credit cards and many, many set backs. Including the start of the rebuilding the home process, to have to have them turn around and redemolish what was being rebuilt due to materials not being structurally sound.

As tough as their year has been they have tried to show great strength and fought hard to keep their faith. They have been amazing examples to each one of us, especially in finding and sharing the blessings, tender mercies, and miracles, that they have found, even in and especially amongst the scary, hard, and bad!!!

The last couple of weeks the redemolish was completed and they had repoured the part of the foundation that needed replaced.

Framing was finally set to begin again this morning.
That got postponed...

Tragedy and more loss found them in the early hours of the this morning right before work was set to begin.

The shed on their property was the only thing standing after that initial fire exactly one year and 8 days ago .

In the 2 o'clock hour this morning, someone committed an act of arson and set the shed on fire, with about $15,000 of equipment inside.

I have no words and no understanding of how someone could possibly even think of doing this to someone else....especially someone who has been through and lost so much already...

After a year, those emotional wounds are super fresh and at the surface again...they now have to eat the cost of the equipment and only real possessions they had left.

Because of their still open claim on the house fire from a year ago, they were told they cannot add this to it, even though it is on the same site. They would have to file another claim and risk being dropped from the insurance at that point.
If they file another claim, they will be dropped and they will only be eligible for insurance with a very high premium...this is so unfair, especially after all they have already been through...

So at this point they will have to consider this a loss. And not have those items ever replaced by the insurance.

I am hoping that we can pull together and at least help recoup the cost of what was inside.

(And yes that propane tank exploded early this morning and it was loud!!!)

The constructed shed they had would probably be close to another $50K+, probably much more. And yes it would be great to cover that too, focusing on helping replace what was inside feels a bit more doable...

Especially since they have lost so much already.

All of them are grieving once again, and their PTSD is real, they are really struggling today.

Will you help me lift their spirits, and give just a bit to help them at least recoup the cost of the equipment they cannot claim on the insurance???

Thank you for reading this, PLEASE SHARE, SHARE, SHARE this fundraiser!!!

Let's hope to be able to ease a bit of this emotional roller coaster and extra financial loss from such a sad, malicious unnecessary act...

We love the Shingleton Family, and we hope and pray that all of these processes and that the rebuild happens quickly, safely, efficiently. We hope and pray they can be back in their home in record time!!!

Please pray for them, and their emotional, spiritual, and mental states. Please keep them in your prayers, that they stay strong, and they keep seeing good amongst the sad and bad. Please pray for their workers, to work safe and quickly.

This family just wants to go home and be at home!!!
