The Motivation Behind Our Music

We are Perez, Jaedon, and Christian, a group of students from Rooks Health School. For us and many others, knife crime isn't just a news headline, it's a terrifying reality. We've seen firsthand the emotional devastation it causes, with a recent incident involving close friends, leaving our entire community in fear. This experience moved us to act. We realised we could use our passion for music as a powerful tool to raise awareness and help prevent further tragedies.

Our Project:

In collaboration with the respected Mark Evison Foundation, we have created an EP (extended play). Each of the four tracks we've produced is a deeply personal representation of how knife crime is seen and experienced in our community. We have poured our raw emotions and unique perspectives into this project, aiming to create something that resonates with people and helps them understand the different ways this issue impacts young people's lives.

Our initial goal is to raise £220. This amount will cover the production costs of the EP, allowing us to finish mixing and mastering the tracks to the best possible quality.

After the initial production costs are covered, every single additional pound raised will go directly to a charity that supports young people and works to end knife crime.
