Jacqueline 'Jackie' Mpofu is a 32 year old Zimbabwean staying in Glendale, Mazowe. She is a musician by profession, and did backing vocals for different Zimbabwean artists for 5 years, including Ammara Brown.
On the 4th of December 2017 she was involved in a car crash in Harare and got incomplete Spinal Cord Injury on level T4 and T5. There was compression on the spinal cord and she had decompression surgery done. Ever since the accident she has been confined to a wheelchair and bed. She has not been able to afford physical therapy due to financial problems and due to the spinal injury she has developed other complications which are ossification on the left pelvis (new bone regeneration) and osteoporosis developing on the femur of same leg. She needs physical therapy and to see an orthopaedic doctor.
Please help Jackie recover – by helping her raise the necessary funds needed for treatment.
This fundraiser is administered by her friend, Eirik Hoff Walmsness in Norway (hence the currency set to NOK).
Our goal is 20 000 Norwegian kroner, equivalent to roughly 2 200 US Dollars.
