Traevon Nelson Memorial Fund
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my youngest and beloved son, Traevon D. Nelson, lost his battle with Renal Carcinoma cancer at the age of 26 and passed from this life into eternal life to be with Jesus on February 19th, 2022. Traevon, affectionately known by many as Chubb or Chubby, touched the lives of many people with his contagious humor, beaming smile, and unselfish love. My son is survived by his two beautiful daughters, ages 1 and 3, Sa'Liyah Samone Nelson, and Roselynn Mytoya Hunter, the joys and loves of his life. He is also survived by me, Tracey Sparks, his father Terryence Nelson Sr., his sisters Yukia Anderson, and Terenika Nelson, and brother Terryence Nelson III
I am raising money to cover the cost of the funeral and memorial services for him. I plan to use any remaining funds to place in a secured trust fund for his two daughters. My son was diagnosed with cancer in July of 2021. When we found out, the cancer had already developed into stage 4. After finding out, one of his desires was to fight hard to beat the cancer so he could be around to see his daughters grow up. While going through his chemotherapy treatments and fighting this ugly disease, he pushed his body beyond limits to attempt to work delivery and side jobs in order to earn money to leave to his daughters. Despite going through multiple rounds of chemo, the cancer aggressively and quickly spread in such a short time. Unfortunately, securing life insurance for him proved to be difficult and unsuccessful due to his age and terminal illness. I ask with humility for your financial support. Any amount you can give will go a long way. If you are unable to give financially, then I covet your prayers and emotional support for my family.
