Traevon needs help with college
Traevon set out on his college adventure 2 weeks ago He has done everything possible including
Maxing out his student loans
Attempting other loans
Getting a job on campus before he even moved in, and Applied for any and every scholarship he could.
Traevon is still short $3695
Traevon called me Wednesday very stressed and worried. He was talking about options and his concern that he would need to unenroll before the drop cut off date at WMU and move home to enlist and go to basic. That is not an option.
I am unable to get approved for a "parent student loan" due to my disability and having had a portion of my own student loan debt be forgiven by the government.
Traevon has accomplished so much and is such a great kid. He had his first job at 14 and is so goal oriented. It breaks my heart knowing he is under so much stress right now. I don't want him to give up on or walk away from his dreams.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
