Thank you for coming to my Gofundme!

I am an artist with a calling to traditional music from the African Diaspora. One of my fondest memories is from my first trip to West Africa in 2011. Seeing performers rehearsing and being exposed to a new culture of music and dancing  was truly mesmerizing! 

I’ve since traveled there a few times and continue to learn and share my love for these arts through teaching and performing. 

This campaign is designed to support my studies in Guinea Conakry with my teacher Baba Moustapha Bangoura. The cost for this is roughly $600 a week plus airfare. I aim to secure enough to study for a few weeks from January 7th -February 4th primarily and other intensives throughout the year .
