Hi, my name is John Griffin and it is with an heavy heart I am creating this account. As many of you know my wife was injured in a tragic accident. As a result of the accident, she is suffering from a Traumatic Brain Injury and the future is still unknown.

On May 12th, Tracy was out with friends and lost her footing while walking up some stairs. As a result of the fall, Tracy was rushed to the hospital where she was rushed into surgery because the trauma to her brain was extremely severe. If it wasn’t for the brain surgery team at Sutter Memorial Hospital, I would have lost my wife that night and Riley would have grown up not knowing her amazing mother.

We have been blessed by how many people have reached out to send their well wishes or added our family into their prayers. So before I get much further, thank you so much for everything you have already done.

With that being said it pains me to ask for more help. As a result of this injury, my family needs your help, my wife’s employer has been nothing short of amazing, but as we wait for disability to kick in, we are only receiving a fraction of her current salary. On top of that, our Kaiser coverage is great, but they do not cover all of the therapies that are going to be needed, so we will be having to come out of pocket to pay for private therapy.

I know it is a huge ask, but if you can find it in your heart to help, my family would be forever great full.
