Hello! My name is Aaliyah and I would love for you to join this fight WITH me!
After her extensive and prolonged recovery from a botched spinal surgery in 2015, the journey did not get any easier or more affordable. Being forced to leave her job she loved for over 20 years, the financial burden became heavier as the appointments and treatments became more intensive, expensive, and overwhelming for both her mental and physical state. In February 2021, Tracy was diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL with Corticobasal Degeneration Syndrome. The experience at Mayo Clinic was forever life changing for her. Because of the progression of CBD and lack of research and resources for this in our home state, it is our hope to have Tracy relocated to the Jacksonville, FL area to continue to be treated by an expert neurologist with familiarity of CBD. Being that this condition is one that progresses over time, to be proactive Tracy must continue to undergo therapy, that includes, speech, physical, and occupational. Tracy will also need daily skilled nursing services at home to be properly observed and cared for as well in addition to other lifestyle accommodations on top of the drastic changes she's experienced thus far. There is a lot of red tape within the healthcare system that prohibits her from receiving certain benefits, it is dire that Tracy receives the care that she deserves as soon as possible.
Thank you for all your support and may God Bless you.
