Tracy’s Medical Equipment

Hi guys,

Most of you know by now what happened to my dad 3 years ago, well since then he has gone down hill drastically. Currently he is in rehab at Advent Health Winter Park, unfortunately they’re not seeing much improvement in him and is still having a hard time being able to even get up to attempt to walk. These past couple months his seizures have been back to back. They have discussed going back in and removing the skull to remove dead brain tissue that could possibly stop the seizures, but as many of you know there comes cons with that as well. We have talked to a doctor this week and they informed us that there isn’t going to be much improvement with him due to the Parkinson’s progressing as fast as it is, and if he keeps having seizures it’s killing more brain tissue. I have started this go fund me to help my mom and dad with whatever possible. Mom is not the type to ask for help and that’s why I am doing so. Dad hopefully gets to come home this week , however there is going to be equipment needed to better assist him and my mom that insurance does not cover. We have called numerous places that have also been no help. The equipment that he is needing will be a Sara Steady to help maneuver out of the house and lift him out of bed and a Bariatric bed side Commode. If you can not help, I ask you to please share. I would also like to even start a meal train for mom to help take a load off of her. Y’all anything helps. She gets to work 2 days a week and we all know you can’t do much on that.
