Hi I’m Tracy’s Mother and she is currently dealing with a reoccurrence of her cancer and needs support. I ask her to explain in her own words…
From Tracy:
It’s been almost a year since my last surgery - and even though it has been a great year, the bone cancer has metastasized onto a different part of my lung. I will have surgery to remove it on Friday morning in San Antonio at the Methodist Hospital. The real good news is that we caught it much quicker, and since I already have a great surgeon and medical team overseeing my surgery and recovery. it has not been as much of a struggle as it was last time to get a diagnosis. The not-so-great news is that it’s moving much quicker than last time, in about 3 months, it has gone from 1.2 cm to over 3.5 cm., more than doubling in size.
On Wednesday after Liam gets out of school, we will begin the 7-hour drive to San Antonio for my pre-op, and then Friday morning they will perform surgery on my lung.
Anything that you can donate will help tremendously, and I am grateful for every one of you.
Thank you all.
