One of our friends, family, classmates, members of our community is facing the battle of her life….
In 2013 Tracy Patton (Barnes) was diagnosed with
Stage IV Ovarian Cancer.
Since that time she has undergone a major 6 hour surgery, 29 chemo treatments, hundreds of appointments, countless scans and 2 remissions..She exemplifies a “Warrior Spirit” with grace and immense courage. During her two remissions Tracy was an active fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer and patient advisor for the new Cancer Centre in Calgary.
Unfairly, her cancer has returned—Tracy is now battling to prove she can force this cancer into remission for the third time. Having had extensive chemo that damaged her vision and hearing, her options are now very limited.
Most likely this will be her last attempt at chemo.
This is why supplemental Naturopathic treatments are so critical and urgent. Tracy's cancer has proven to be atypical and responsive to treatment - crossing the 5 year timeline - all cancer patients aim for. She has already shown how her tenacity, courage and strength have beaten this awful disease twice. She is prepared and determined to do it again.

After a consult with her Oncology team they have encouraged her to supplement her chemo with additional Naturopathic Oncology therapies. Research has shown that these IV treatments will greatly enhance her chemo. Her support team recognize the huge benefit Naturopathic Oncology has provided patients, in faster recovery and remission. They encourage her to seek this elsewhere as it is not covered by her health plan. Thanks to the generous efforts of “Tracy’s Angels” they have assisted with lifting this financial burden and provided the first two Naturopathic treatments and ongoing general care.
Each Naturopathic Treatment Plan (combination of 7 therapies) costs $2400.00 per round of traditional chemo.
Tracy’s Angels hope to raise $15,000.00 to cover all six rounds of chemo and supplemental costs.
To date “Tracy’s Angels” have raised $7895.00!!

As she approached her second chemo treatment Tracy was given shocking news, her bloodwork indicated they would not be able to proceed with chemo… All hope was lost.
With the assistance of your donations Tracy was assessed by her Naturopathic Oncologist and provided IV treatments and repeat bloodwork. Miraculously, her bloodwork dramatically improved, allowing her to proceed with chemo….astounding her medical team!! She conquered her second round of chemo with the same grit and determination…spending 6 hours at the Tom Baker Cancer Clinic immediately followed by another 2 hours at the Pyatt Naturopathic Oncology Health Center.
