My mother Tracy Ibon has been battling cancer for many years. Her battle first started at 9 yrs old when she was diagnosed with Leukemia, she went through rounds of chemo and was Cancer free for many years. She lived life and had 3 amazing children Angel (19) Julia (14) and Tyler (10). In 2016 she was then diagnosed with breast cancer and under went a double mastectomy and chemo, and because of the warrior she is and her strong Faith she was able to overcome breast Cancer. Growing up mom always taught us how precious life is and how to continue life strong , God will see us through all obstacles.
In 2019 Mom felt a lump in her face and was diagnosed with Osteo Sarcoma. She was now battling cancer in her bones. As kids she never showed us she was in pain or didn't feels good. I never thought of my mom being sick because she was always laughing or going out taking us to school and practices. But her battle with Osteo Sarcoma has been a rough one. She's has had 3 major surgeries 2 to her face and 1 in her lung to remove tumors and again did chemo that made her really sick. Mom always recovered from every chemo treatment and every surgery she truly is a warrior and one of the strongest moms I know. She went through many days of pain but always found a way to bounce back, and was always ready to make memories or plan something special for us. She truly is a warrior and never gives up.
Last month a tumor again has grown, her amazing Doctors and nurses at Kapiolani & Queens have taken such great care of her. She calls them her family if you mention my mom's name I'm sure they know of her well at Kapiolani. Her doctors have done all the treatments and surgeries that they can do for her here in Hawaii to help , but now her doctor was able to find a promising treatment for Osteo Sarcoma in California . The trial was only open to 10 patients and God has blessed her with healing hands to be able to be one. We got the call 7/20/2020 that she was excepted for treatment at Sarcoma Oncology Center in Santa Monica and needed to start right away , 2 days later mom and I even with Covid 19 going on arrived in California with the fast help of family. I know financially everyone must be going through hard times because of this pandemic but we would appreciate any help you can give, a prayer also goes a long way. We are truly thankful for all the prayers love and support so far.
With your help it will help us with transportation, a place to stay near the clinic , food and necessities. It will also help the needs of her 2 kids back home anxiously waiting for mommy to get better and come home.
My mom Tracy's motto through out her battle has always been #WARRIORSTRONG, but she always says she's made it this far because the people around her makes her feel like a WARRIOR she already is a SURVIVOR...she's an AMAZING MOM, SISTER, AUNTY, NIECE, and DAUGHTER to so many , and she is OUR WARRIOR and together we are not ready to give up!
