After a courageous, yearlong battle with liposarcoma, Tracy Yoshikawa D'Errico, class of 2010, left our world on May 6, 2020. During her short lifetime, she enlightened us with her contagious smile and positivity. We would love to honor her life with a memorial bench and a stone near the Albion College Soccer Field, where she played the sports she loved. We also hope it will inspire present and future student-athletes.
We hope to reveal the bench on September 26, 2021, during the Albion College Women's Soccer home game and would love to have you there. We believe it will be a noon game but time is currently TBD. We also hope to fly in her beloved husband in North Carolina.
GoFundMe will take about 3% of your donation. If you would like to donate directly, please Venmo her former classmate Yume Preston at @yumeNpreston, and all donations will be fully dedicated to her memorial.

Tracy Claire Yoshikawa D'Errico was born to David and Ruth Yoshikawa on January 11, 1988, in Michigan. She was a loving wife to Chris, older sister to Torey, athletic trainer and mentor to student-athletes, and friends to many.
Since childhood, she has loved soccer. Not a surprise, "Yosh" was selected as a team captain at both Kalamazoo Hackett High School and Albion College. She always stayed positive even during the worst of the soccer conditioning and pushed and kept her teammate motivated. She brought the 2009 MIAA championship trophy to Albion College alongside her Briton teammates.
Tracy also thrived in Athletic Training while living a busy life as a student-athlete. Not only did she do well academically, but she also was a fantastic mentor to her underclassmen. To honor her accomplishment, Albion College Athletic Training Program named an award "The Yoshi Student Mentor Award," which was given yearly to antecedent students who excelled in mentorship.
Once she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, she enrolled at East Carolina University as a graduate student to complete her Master's Degree in Sports Science. She was then hired as a full-time assistant athletic trainer and worked with the ECU Women's Soccer Team as her primary sports team. She was awarded LifeSaver recognition by the North Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association after successfully identifying and treating a women's soccer player with heatstroke and a core temperature of 108. Later, Tracy joined North Carolina State Women's Soccer to complete her legacy.
